Default setting steering after broken sector shaft

Hey guys hope someone here can help me out...

A little over a week ago I was wheeling at Rausch Creek on some Blue/Black trails and I ended up snapping the sector shaft on the steering box... did lots of research and replaced it with a rebuilt Delphi box and I'm waiting on the Synergy sector shaft brace, track bar brace and trackbar to arrive.

I got anxious to work on the Jeep today so I installed the steering box and used what I thought were Index markings for the box being set to "center" I hooked up the intermediate shaft and noticed I did not have full lock to lock wheel movement... I ended up taking the pitman arm off the shaft to see if I would have full sweep then and I must have had the steering wheel off a turn or so because I snapped the Clockspring...

After calling myself names and realizing that I just added another $200 to the repairs I cooled down... found the write up for Clockspring removal and got the steering wheel off and started thinking how I'm going to find center on everything. I'll order the Clockspring tomorrow but in the meantime I need to figure out how to find center on the steering box, steering wheel, and all while keeping the wheels straight.

I guess the most important thing is finding the center on the steering box as pretty much everything else can be turned or adjusted.

What I'm afraid of, is not getting everything centered and over turning the wheel and snapping another Clockspring.

One question I have... is there anything else in the steering column that I need to be careful of damaging or is the Clockspring the only thing that can get "maxed out"... the only thing that comes to mind is sometype of sensor that activates the traction control when the steering wheel is off center but that might be something in the Clockspring maybe...

Anyway sorry for such a long post I hope some of you guys can help me figure out how to recenter everything

Thanks
