Mamba MR1X 16s and 17s with 285's

Mamba MR1X 16s and 17s with 285's
Hello,
I am looking to run MR1X's on my JK, no lift. I'm debating between 16's and 17s.
If I went 16s:
Mamba MR1x 16x8, backspacing 4.74
285/70/16
17s:
Mamba MR1x 17x8, backspacing 4.74
285/70/17
Would I get any rubbing with this set up? Whether that be disconnected on the fender or sway bars? Does anyone run this set up?
Side question, does anyone know any good tires in either 285/70/17 or 285/70/16 that are C rated and have good overall performance? (think snow... New England). I'm trying to avoid D and E rated tires unless absolutely necessary. I know there are Nitto Terra Grappler G2's in the 17 size.
