hey guys, I've had the super chips flashcal for a couple years, i used it when i got 37's and change a couple other things. This past week i changed my gears to 5.13, when i used the programmer to adjust for the gears it worked fine and installed but when i drove the jeep the speedo wasn't working anymore. Any ideas what the problem is.

 

So the speedometer worked after doing the gears but before correcting with superchips?

 

Would probably try returning it to stock and retrying all the inputs. Haven't had this issue myself but I'm wondering if the tune didn't quite fully install

 

If it all worked after doing the gears but not after programming then yes I would return to stock and see if that fixes it. If it didn't work from the get go, then its something you didwhen doing the gears. You have a sensor in ur rear that controls ur speedometer

 

just uninstalled the tune then reinstalled, working fine now
