Question Need a 1/2" - 3/4" suspension gain on top of my 2.5" BB with 19/60 springs

I have 2012 JKU with currently a RC 2.5" BB and I also put on 19/60 springs. (p.s. I love these springs. A great improvement over the stock ones and a really good lift to them.) I figuring I have around 3"-3.25" lift total. I do not have any heavy bumpers or winches. I have 35" tires now and at full turn and a little flex I am rubbing slightly. I'm looking for a 1/2" - 3/4" gain to fix this.

Looking for a cheap quick fix until I go for a full 4" spring lift later this year. Do not want a body lift nor do I want to trim and fenders or inner fenders. Would just switching my 2.5" lift spacers to a 3" spacer be a idea? I'm assuming that my 2.5" lift shock and arm extensions and brake line relocation will be enough to cover the extra needed lift??

Thanks in advance.

That should be all you need to gain the amount of height you are looking for.

What back spacing do your rims have?

I have the 15" Black Rock D windows. I believe they are 3.75".

Where are you rubbing?

Do you have the stock air dam and bumper? Are you still running stock bump stops?

Your rims and lift aren't the problem.

I'm pretty sure it's the Inner fender. I'll check again after this rain storm rolls thru. I have a stubby stock front bumper.

I'm wondering now if its the crappy plastic skid plate?

I bet you it's the plastic air dam. Easy fix, just rip it off.

A deep mud hole in reverse does a good job at removing the air dam. 😉 ask me how I know.

Yup it was the air dam. I'll cut the corners. Easy fix. Still wouldn't mind a 3/4" more clearance although.
Then its 4" spring lift time......then 37s. Its a sick, sick addiction.

You have the clearance for 35s as is. I wouldn't go through the effort for another 3/4" if you're going to swap everything out for 4" coils later on.

At 4" though you're going to need to improve your suspension/steering geometry so budget for that as well.

Good luck.
