Default What are you running for tools off you OBA?

Hello All,

What air tools are you taking on the trail with you? Manufacture, etc.? What do you find yourself using them for the most?

Thank you,

Dale

I carry a 1/2 inch drive impact and sockets. and of course an air chuck for inflating my tires.

I use battery powered tools. I like it better than air tools.

I had the ARB twin compressor with a 2 gallon tank - I say "had", as this was in my prior jeep. For my new one, I'm now just using a portable viair 450p that I don't plan to run air tools from.

I carried an air ratchet, air cut off wheel, and impact... though for impact I'd often find myself using a cordless lithium powered craftsmen one instead (actually had more oomph).

The cut off wheel I got more use out of than I though I would; one instance where I found the edge of a bracket hitting my anti-rock arms and trimmed them on the trail, and another helping someone cut a bolt thanks to a cross threaded nut that wouldn't back out - the setup ran the tool just fine, just had to take frequent breaks to let the tank re-charge.
