I don't have the rocker armor, but I have their Exo Corners. Be careful not to spin the rivnut. The rivnut tool they give you will fail after about 20 rivnuts. It's just a 3/8 bolt with an 11/16 nut that's had the threads drilled out. I would find someone with a good nutsert tool. I'm getting the Overline fenders when I get back from deployment so I'm going to have to find a good one.

I just installed Crawler Conceptz rocker armor and used this tool from Amazon.
Amazon.com: Astro Pneumatic Tool 1442 13" Nut/Thread Hand Riveter Kit: Automotive
Didn't spin one the tool worked great. I had read all the horror stories about nutserts this tool made it close to fool proof.

Get some paint and hit the holes you drill out. The drill bit for the rivnuts was a slight pain to find (I ended up ordering one from poison spyder and waiting another week to install), and make sure you have most of the sizes before it, to work your way up. Especially on the sheet metal. The tool they supplied worked fine for me, only spun one, which was the first one. There should be an extra or two in the hardware bag. Just make sure they're tight, then tighten a little more. I took all the necessary bolts out and had a buddy put the rail up so I knew exactly where to drill because the instruction pictures use a JKU. First side was a little stressful, other side was a walk in the park. Don't overthink the rivnut ordeal. Just pay attention and make sure they are tight before you put a bolt in. You can always tighten more until the bolts spinning with it. Mine came out great, and everything lined up perfect.

Use a step bit after the pilot to drill the holes to 1/2" then use the 17/32 bit. Or, order an annular bit in the correct size. Just don't use regular drill bits the whole way.

Words of wisdom! I can never remember to use or recommend a step bit.
Another thing - wear a jacket or some kind of protection for your arms while drilling. I had blisters all over my arms from hot metal shavings.

The rivets closest to the front were a real PITA for me. There wasn't enough space behind the sheet metal to fully get the rivet to start crimping on a couple holes.

Also the sheet metal, in the front, is incredibly thin. I tore a big hole about a golf ball size when a drill bit caught. The armor ended up covering the hole ok. Also I spun one rivet in each side and the bolt is sticking out a bit.

I bought the specialized rivet tool that they rec in the instructions, but it broke after 1 side was done. I found the tool supplied was much better.

I did the armor, the highline fenders and exo corners all at the same time: Click image for larger version
