Default Rough country adjustable read track bar

Good evening guys.

I'm in the process of installing a rough country x series 4 inch lift on my '11 wrangler 2 Dr. Having an issue getting the rear axel aligned. I am running out of adjustment on the rear track bar which I purchased separately from the lift. Anybody have this issue? And what's the fix? I'm thinking that maybe it doesn't require the track bar mounting bracket on the axle side? Any help would be greatly appreciated folks. Thanks in advance.

The bracket centers the axle (more or less). Some people have found that adjustable trackbars will not go short enough when used with brackets. Return it and use the stock trackbar.

OR

That is a drop bracket from the frame, and not a raised bracket from the axle? You might consider ditching it and finding a good axle-side raise bracket instead.

Also, that lift does not come with steering angle correction? If you decide you want to adjust the angles, research draglink flips rather than the drop pitmans RC likes to use.

And, with that lift height, be sure to make a habit of crawling underneath and checking the joints on both driveshafts...

Yep, raise the rear axle mount with one that is at least 4" higher then the factory mount. Just doing this will nearly center the axle with the factory track bar. Since you have the adjustable already you will be adjust it more if necessary. By raising the axle bracket you will get less body roll and axle shift improving handling.

A quick question... For a smaller lift, say 2-3", would it be better to have an adjust able trackbar, axle-side bracket, or both?

Its best to use a raised bracket, going after market with an adjustable track bar gains you strength as well as adjustability.

Most axle side brackets raise the track bar 3 inches"
With a 3-4" lift. The axle should be Close to center under the jeep.
With a 2.5" lift. The axle may be slightly over corrected.

So an adjustable trackbar works best for a smaller lift, if money isn't an object? I speak from an off-roading point of view more so than on road ride quality.

I ended up removing the bracket and mounting the adjustable track bar to the factory mounting spot. My reasoning for this is because with the bracket and the adjustable track bar I was unable to position the axle over so it was centre as I ran out of thread. The stock track bar was bent, this is why I went aftermarket adjustable.
