XRC M.O.D. Stubby... what can I do with Fogs now?
Picked up the Smitty XRC M.O.D. a couple weeks ago. Plan to stick with the stubby ( cause that's what all the cool kids are doing )
Since the MOD center section does not have a spot for the factory fogs, I'm looking for options.
Would prefer to stick with something plug and play as I'm not real comfortable messing with the electrical...
The bull bar has 2 light tabs that are open for use...
Are there any plug and play ( or close to it ) options out there?

Hey, I just ordered the stubby and will build onto it as I go along. How was the install. I have a 14 JKUS. As for the lighting goes, I have Rigid Dually's but they are run to my SPOD but I assume you could just use the factory fog wiring. Electrical confused me also but after a lot of reading threads and you-tube videos I installed my Spod, Dually's and light bar with ease.
Once the nuts were off, it was a piece of cake.
Instructions are so so. I separated all of the nuts, washers, and bolts into like groups. There are a few that are very similar in size, but the counts are different. And i had a bunch of left-overs I'm assuming are for installing a winch.
Would probably be a 2 man job if you are installing a winch too. I believe you need to install the winch prior to installing the bumper. At that point, it would be fairly heavy to try to maneuver.
Install was about 1.5 hours by myself, taking my time ( was 90°+ ). Most difficult part was removing the stock bumper. Hard as hell to break loose the nuts. Complicating matters was the only correct size socket I had was not a deep well socket, so I had to use the next closest size deep well. Once the nuts were off, it was a piece of cake. I managed to install my winch on Smittybilt Mod bumper with it attached to the jeep but it was a real pain. As for the fog lights I cut them off and hooked up a set of rigid lights to the bull bar and have them controlled by my fog light switch in the jeep.

Did you drill and run the wiring through the bullbar/bumper? Or just ziptie them?
I drilled a couple of holes in the bull bar under where the lights sit and ran it through it . Also drilled a small hole on the bumper where the bull bar attaches on and fed the wires through that as well. Turned out pretty decent and can't really see much of the wiring.

Installed the XRC Mod stubby last night. Pretty easy install, getting the stock off was the hardest part. Im going to use the reversed fog as rock light idea! Did anyone else notice an immediate change to the way the Jeep drives? I think its mostly due to the drastic aerodynamic change to the front end. Thoughts?
