Just recently got a Currie Anti-rock,as i was installing and it hit my winch (flip upside down) into my stock bumper. i can't flip the brackets b/c then it will my springs. Has anyone ran into this situation before. any help.

 

The brackets are only meant to go on one way. If the arms flipped forward then your links aren't long enough. I think this is what you're trying to say.

 

Not exactly, if the the arms flipped forward i would be hitting the bumper and a couple of things, but if i flip the bracket than the arms would contact my springs.

 

the brackets go where they go. It isn't going to work with a winch stuffed inside the stock bumper.

Ah, I see the issue. Yeah, must be how the winch is placed in the bumper. I have never heard of that issue before though. Can you modify the winch mount at all so as to clear the sway bar? I'm not a fan of people having to go buy new parts just to make something else work.

 

from what i can see you can. you would just have to cut a bit more of the winch plate and move it forward and re drill the holes. i liked the flushed look of the winch, that would make the fairleads stick out more.

 

Sell the anti rock. It's a jeep not a race car, u don't need a swaybar. Me along with a few of my buddies run no sway bar what so ever. Drive like a dream. 👍👌

 

Driving on the street without sway bars isn't a good idea. If you should be in a situation where an aggressive maneuver is necessary I hope you don't cause someone else to lose their life due to your own stupidity.

 

^ This. They are there for a good reason. Nothing like rolling your rig on the road/highway because the idiot in front of you decided to slam their brakes...
