Default Aftermarket stereo pgrade question

Just bought a new stereo to replace the OE unit. I got the Axxess ASCW-1to retain steering wheel control and a Metra 99-6511 dash kit for my 2012 JKU. I also got a Metra 40-EU10 antenna adapter. The new deck I got is a JVC KD-R760. My question is this...I've seen a couple write ups that also include an Axxess CHTO-013BB harness when installing a new HU. Do I need to get this harness? What is this for? Is there a way around using it because it seemed to be a pretty pricey piece?

Hey friend. Answering some questions will help- do you have premium sound already? Do you have Sirius xm radio, if so, are you looking to keep it? You should need the hu, antenna adapter, steering control module, and wiring harness. You might need additional stuff depending on your current configuration. Posting pics will help you get your questions answered better.

I have the standard sound system. No satellite radio. I have everything I need minus the wiring harness. I'm not sure which one to get. The one I think I need is a Metra 70-6522. Then I think I'll be all set.

Getting no answers over in electrical and sound, how bout another related question lol.
With no steering controls, nav, cameras or anything, would I need one of those fancy harnesses? I want to install a single din I already have. I do have the infinity system in my 07, but I've read somewhere you can just splice a wire to turn on the infinity amp. Any help would be greatly appreciated
