Anyone try to modify 4 door Rubi rails for a 2 door? What's all involved?

 

Found this picture on a WOL thread. Looks like it can be done.

I did this. It was easy. I cut the rear of the rail to fit the pinch seam, painted the exposed metal, and re-inserted the cap. The brackets and holes match up to the those on the 2 door.

Did the same on my previous 2 door JK. Had to trim anyway, so picked up some 4-door rails. Bolted right up.

 

I've cut down a few set of 4 door to mount of 2 doors... bolt holes are in the same location and the end cap can be popped off easily and reused.
