I'm going to be installing a AEV 2.5" lift soon and I'm trying to figure out what tire to run. I currently have a 37" BF km2 on my 2011 Rubicon Unlimited and the true measurement is not 37. I just purchased a 15 Rubicon and I want a tire that will fill in the wheel well and I believe a true 34" would fit the bill.

Pictures and any tire info would be much appreciated .

I run the AEV 2.5" lift on my JKU with 285 75 17 Mickey ATZs. The are as small as I'd go, and would do a 35 next.

Check out AEV forum, there is a thread there on 2.5" picks.....tons of photos and just about every tire size under the sun.

I am running the Rock Krawler 2.5" flex kit with 285/75/17's on stock Rubi wheels. They measure mounted about 3.9 inches. If I had to do it again if just get the 35's and be done with it. Here a shot of the "almost" 34's.

 

JK Show & Tell. There are huge picture threads of any tire size and lift combo you could want.

As far as 'true size' goes, there is the size most people will say it is, what the mfg spec lists it as, and what it actually measures under full vehicle weight. It is very common for tires to measure out an inch or more shorter than mfg spec mounted, at normal pressure for these larger tires, and under weight. If you want a 'true' 34" tire, order a 35 or 36".

 

I just installed AEV 2.5 Suspension with AEV Front Drop Brackets. Also installed Goodyear DuraTrac 315/70/R17 on Factory Willys Wheeler Wheels with Spidertrax 1.5" Black Wheel Spacers.

I know many people running a true 37 on the AEV 2.5 lift. Not sure a 34 is going to get the wheel well filled out. Any 35 or 315/70-17 will fit what you are looking for though. The 315s will be a little shorter and slightly wider than a 35x12.50.

If that is all the tire you want, toss some nice flat fenders on and don't lift it. Same cost and you don't have to mess with the suspension.

 

I normally run Toyo at2 35x12.5/17 with 2.5 rk lift which a little taller then aev 2.5 lifts I'm familiar with both and just put 34x10.5 ko2s on for a road trip and looks goofy as all get out but handles great and feels turbo charged 14 jkur with 4.10

Just out of curiosity.....if you had 37's on your 2011, why wouldn't you want the same on your '15? 37's fit fine with a decent 2.5" lift and flats. If you're wanting to fill up the fender well, why wouldn't you just go that route?
