Default BFG vs Duratrac tire zize

Can anyone tell me the
"real" size difference between the 35x12.5x17 BFG all terrain KO2 and the 315x70x17 Goodyear Duratrac? I want an all terrain tire and was thinking of going with the Duratrac but they do not come in 35s. I know I can look up the size difference between the two but I was looking for opinions of actual fit because I know some tires tend to run small. So is there really and noticeable difference when installed between these two tires?

BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 measure - 34.5" X 12.5" and weigh 66lbs. Goodyear DuraTrac measure - 34.4” X 12.7” and weigh 60lbs. I just had Goodyear DuraTrac 315/70/R17 installed on Factory Willys Wheeler Wheels and they are quite and better ride compared to the Factory BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain Tires I replaced.

That's the biggest bfg km2 I've seen then. Typically I've seen is lower to mid 33s on a 35x12.5x17. The dura is mid 33s as well

He said KO2, not KM2. The KO2 is the new version of the long running KO AT tire.

I will confirm this, just got mine the other day and when they came from tire rack with 60 psi they measured 34.5 but then you air them down to something reasonable (I went with 30PSI) they where 33 3/4. I am glad I chose them, I am extremely happy with the ride and I think they look great.

My duratracs when new measure just over 34". Ive been very happy with them, I've had them everywhere from the sand to rock crawling with no issues at all.

Just got the 315/70/17 Duras last week. At 33 psi they're rough;y 33.5" tall installed, on the truck. Ride really nice, but a little more tire hmmmmmm than I expected. Not bad at all, just there, whereas there wasn't any with the stock Rubicon tires (1300 mi). I probably would have gotten the 35" KO2s but for the fact that America's Tire wouldn't install them on my factory rims--said the computer said they were too wide--but they would install the duras.

I like the performance of Duratracs on and off the road. They offer reliable traction on wet roads also.
