Default 2012 JKU Front drive shaft ate it. Need a replacement.

Anyone want to recommend me a new front driveshaft? I really don't know what all the different types of joints mean, spicer, spicer solid etc.. I'd like one that utilizes the stock flanges for ease of intall. My JK has a 3.5 RK lift on it.

Tom Woods all the way. Super easy install albeit a PITA to remove the 1 1/4" nut on the transfer case end. Had to take her to the dealer. If that's the case plan to spend $100 and don't forget the replacement parts when you take it up there.

I second that, I put on front and rear drive shafts and have never looked back. Great quality and superior customer service when ordering. Also they are custom fit to your rig, you get diagrams on how to measure that makes it easy.

Called up Adams, they were a pleasure to deal with. They're sending me a new driveshaft with greasable cv joints and an adapter plate that goes on the transfer case for under $400 shipped!

I'm in the same boat right now, I need a new front drive shaft. Did you get your new one yet? What did you have to do to install it? I read somewhere about a bunch of steps that it takes to put on a new drive shaft. Is it hard or is it a simple bolt in job?

I just replaced my front with an Adams. Took maybe 2 hours. Only special equipment was I think a 32mm socket to replace the yoke on the transfer case. Make sure you have some lock tight for the diff flange bolts. It actually took longer to disassemble than to put it back together because of all the little bolts on the transfer case side. I didnt have a way to get a ratchet on them and had to use a 8mm box end wrench to get them out.
