Pretty much like the title says. Looking at getting a new tie rod. Ive been beating mine up on the trails, seems to be bent a little. Rims are 17x8 0mm (so 4.5 inch backspacing?), so I should be able to clear most of these aftermarket tie rods. Still running stock axles for now. This is picture from my last trip out wheeling, i'm also ordering lower control arm skids as well. I've already moved the steering stabilizer out of the way, thankfully, or else that would of been number 2.

Pros and Cons of some of these tie rods you all are running?

Ditto. After bending the sticker on Mt Blanca I got a Synergy. Have knocked the crap out of it and it's unfazed.

I had the Currie CorrectLync kit but was disappointed with it. The bar of the tie rod is so heavy that it flops around a lot, wearing out the ends. Plus, the TRE boots kept getting torn, despite trying several different varieties that they offer. And I tried the metal ones, but they made a clanging noise. When I found the drag link TRE failing and wasn't able to remove the old one because it was frozen into the link, I said to heck with it and installed Synergy. Just did that a few weeks ago, but seem to be very well built. I think if you're building a rock crawler with 44s and D60s, go with the Currie stuff and suffer the disadvantages for the added strength (it is significantly larger and heavier than everything else). Otherwise, go with something like Synergy.

.I agree with mark, avoid the currie link, the price should deter you anyway. Synergy is a great product. I you can weld pick up a ruff stuff kit when its on sale (every holiday they run a sale) for around $125. The offset TRE's are resonable if they need replaced. I have been running one for about 3 years now. Reid knuckles are nice to run on stock axles to get that extra clearance on the tie rod and if you are 3.5"+ of lift is already set up for a drag link flip.

Synergy! It is thinner than the rest of the "Big Boy" parts and the TRE's are easily adjustable and replaceable. I have hit this TR more times than I can count and it always returns to its place.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Seems synergy gets the vote, when it comes to tie rods. I will order these very soon.

@Dirtman. I wish I had the ability to weld. I would of also saved some money on the axle sleeve and c gussets that I had installed recently.
