Default What Shocks for Rock Krawler 2.5 Max

I have a 2 door 15 Willys and am adding a Rock Krawler 2.5 Max lift and have seen a mixed review on front shock length. It looks like most are getting 3.5" or so out of the front. I like the fox 2.0 shocks but the two choices are 1.5-3.5 or 4-6". I have seen a few say the 4-6 is the way to go. Is that too tall at full stuff?

I have the 3.5 X factor and run the fox 2.0 up to 3.5" shocks. Works perfect

Measure it fully compressed and fully extended, to see what shocks you should be running. Theres a lot of people here in the forum who are probably using the wrong shocks, because they were told to go with one or the other, myself included.

I have a 2.5 rk and for me my shocks that are 16" compressed and 27.5" extended with 2" bumpstops are perfect

RK gives a good recommendation on what length of shocks to run and what bumpstops to run. I think those specs are pretty much in the ballpark.

You should be closer the 2.5 with the new coils depending on weight.
Shock length is up to you. You can run a 11-12" travel shock. Measure or find out the compressed lengths and bumpstop accordingly.
