Default Need some lift advice

I bought an 08 Rubi 2 dr last year. It came with a Tera Flex 2.5 spacer lift with shock extensions. The factory shocks were blown so I got Rubi take-offs for cheap. I still bottom out (hitting bumpstops at full compression) on the road over the smallest bump. Off road its terrible. If I get say the Tera 1.5" leveling springs paired with my 2.5" spacer this will eliminate the bottoming out. Or should I just get a new 2.5" lift as this height serves me well for the wheeling I do. I will be getting new shocks and get rid of the spacers.

Its bottoming out because your springs are prob worn. Do you have bump stop extensions ?
Yes better coils should help.

Yes. It's the Tera bumpstops that came with the kit. I'm just trying to decide between just getting the 1" leveling coils and using the spacers or save the coin and just get the 2.5 coil kit. With the new kit id probably need front tracbar, rear bracket at least, new front LCAs.

Post up some photos of the shock, coils, and bumpstops if you can at ride height and list the measurements of the available shock shaft showing and the distance between the bump stop and bump pad. I would say you are running too much bump stop which I see quite a bit.

This is the kit that's on my jeep. I'm almost certain that the stock Rubi coils are sagged. I can't measure the shock shaft as they have those plastic protectors on them.

You have way too much bump stop. I would start by removing the teraflex extensions. You can take measurements from the top to the bottom coil perches to see what you actually have in lift now and how much sag you may have. Knowing those numbers not he shocks will help in properly sizing the bump stops.

Ok. Right now I have no rubbing at all when I'm wheeling. Do you think I could leave these bumpstops in if I get rid of the spacers and do the 2.5" coils?

Wow yea, looks like the same bumpstop used in the 2.5 kits ... 2.75" which is way TOO MUCH.
