M/T Classic Lock Rings
i have a set of the black classic locks with the removable ring (before they discontinued them). Problem is a couple of the rings are a little rashed up and bent. I'd like to get a set to look pretty when shes all shined up and use the others for crawling. I cannot seem to find a set ANYWHERE. Any ideas? I'd put this in the WTB section but I think I am going to be looking towards custom or a vendor at this point. Thanks all!
If you keep changing the rings the bolts and where they thread into are eventually going to loosen up and then you'll have a rattle(that you will think is something else until you discover it's the loose rings) I know from experience... After banging the thin aluminum rings off a lot of rocks here in Ontario and in Moab and them bending outwards..... I was all set to have a fabricator do me up some thicker steel rings then re-tap the holes and bolt them back on with new bolts.... But I had a buyer for them as is and I bought some Trail ready beadlock wheels.... I'd get some steel rings made up...... Plus I like the look of the scars left on them after wheeling ... Good luck
bdavid - Funny as it sounds I havent called M/T. I was thinking if they are discontinued I would have no luck. No harm in trying though.
robsjeep9 - I was actually thinking of having a set made out of UHMW to make them a little more replaceable. The other part that drives me nuts is they were run for two x one hour drives in the winter and all the bolt heads look rusty. So my plan was to have a set made that only had holes for the actual mounting bolts.

We're probably headed up there in October again before the trails close down.... In a few weeks headed up to Greens mountain and to so some other trails in Bobcaygeon/Minden
