Default Help Torx Screw just spins

New to forum and in a bit of a bind. I was installing the brackets for a light bar on my 2007 jeep X 2 door. I placed 3 of the Torx screws in finger tight just to hold the bracket. I needed to also install my round light bracket so I tried removing the Torx screw and it just spins. I have tried applying back pressure with no luck. I've been fighting this for 3 hours and cannot figure a way to get the screw to come out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The rivnut came loose on the back side of the windshield. You'll have to drill the head off of the bolt to be able to take the light bar bracket and the windshield support off. Then you may be able to hit what's left of the bolt with a punch to try and pull the bolt out with the rivet nut still attached. I can't remember if it's a rivnut or some other sort of anchor on the other side. I'm currently deployed, so I can't exactly walk out to my Jeep and see what type of anchor is on the back of that bolt.

Thanks thats what what was wrong. The anchor bolt came out of the support. I had to take the windshield down to get to the nut and bolt.

I think I fixed it but will know more tomorrow.

Thanks.
