Default xd fake beadlock bolts rusting

Any of you guys with fake beadlock bolts having any rust issues?

I have a two week old set of xd 126 enduro pros with what looked like stainless bolts but clearly they're not since I see little bits of rust forming on the head of a couple.

There's a modded jku at a dealership near me that has a set of methods that have rust on almost every bolt head, looks awful.

For the price, that's crazy. My real beadlock bolts have zero rust even after a year of torture in rocks.

I'd call them. My guess is that they use regular hardware and have it zinc coated clear. That is a very good process. However, sounds like you got bolts that weren't coated or not coated properly.

You could use stainless, just be sure to use a good coat of anti seize. That's why it is unlikely they would supply stainless. Dissimilar metals will fuse together. For example, my beadlock bolts are aluminum for an aluminum wheel.

What do the guys that sold them have to say about it? How much did they cost you per rim pre taxes?
Might want to return them and get a mod that makes better use of that $. Or just get them to stand behind the product.

I called DT and was asked to bring it by Monday for pictures so they can contact KMC about this and get it resolved.

If I start to notice this regularly I'll be after KMC myself about a full refund

Well, I do need wheels so thats not an option

Just baffled it's already happening. Clearly they have no leg to stand on when its a finish/workmanship issue immediately.

We'll see what the out come is...
