Default Question about metal bushing in the Teraflex disconnect links

I'm supposed to grease the metal bushing before inserting them in the links?
Thanks a lot.

They look like Tera flex links if they are and they are quick disconnects those bushing will not fit I put mine in and had to take them out to get them on the stud. But to answer your question I just used WD40 to put them in then once installed grease away

Yes they are the TF ones, and you're right, with the sleeves in place, the studs won't fit in the link

So we have to install them without those sleeves and simply use the pin studs to hold the links in place ?
Are they supposed to fit that loose with the stud without the sleeve?

Sorry for the delay, I installed mine and have no issues, just check if I recall there are 2 different size studs one for the brackets that holds the sway bar out of the way when disconnected. I think mine fit on pretty snug I didn't check them like you did once I realized they didn't fit I just knocked the bushing out and Installed them I have no rattle or issues but if unsure Tera flex support is pretty good give them a shout

mine are pretty tight without that sleeve, tight enough that I use a zip tie instead of the pins, because I lost mine

I think those metal sleeves are for when you install them on a rubicon with the original bolt and nut. Not really as quick disconnects, more like just longer links for lifts.

Awesome thanks a lot fellas, one last question, should i install the brackets on both sides to keep them the links up when disconnected ?
i thought i could disconnect the driver side for example, and hold the link up in place with the pin, while the passenger side was still connected ?
Or should i disconnect both sides ?

Yes install both brackets and disconnect both sides when wheeling.

Got the lift installed today, i did the disconnects yesterday on stock suspension in prep for the lift, i had to grind a small portion in the frame that wasn't allowing the sway bar links to go up into their resting position. other than that, the disconnects work as advertised, i have a big screw driver that i'm using to drive the links in/out as needed, and also a small one to help guide the locking pin in place, thanks one more time fellas.

Here is is a pic of the front disconnected, the 33" tire barely rubs the factory fender, 2" bumpstops all around,

The front driveshaft still have about one inch or so of clearance with the exhaust

But the tire is still on the ground, barely, i think it'll be ok for a while

I also think i'll remove the rear bumstop as those one are limiting the up travel with the 33's, in theory i'll should be able to run with no bumstops on 33's according to Rubicon express literature for this lift, i'll contact them tomorrow to make sure.
