Default Ls swap and a snorkle

Any snorkel ideas I'm having trouble figuring out how to do it? It's tight with the PSC hydro assist in there.

Can you still fit a factory air box in there? If yes, then you shouldnt have any issues using just about any snorkel out there.

The PSC pump is too large and won't allow the air box to fit. That's the issue with the aftermarket I've seen.
Do y'all make those hoods they look awesome?!

Is it even close to fitting? If it is, maybe trim the box to clear and then fiberglass it back in to seal it?

Yes we do make that hood and thank you

I'll try again this weekend to see if I can get the factory box back in with some trimming I just don't care for the ARB snorkel and the plastic look of it. So I was wanting to try the new River Raider snorkel and I just don't think it will work. I have put off any off-roading till I get the filter cover up to avoid hydro locking my LS.

I don't see why the AEV one wont work with some "engineering" on the interface between the end of the snorkel and the intake.

if you use the RIPP kit it will move the filter to the top of the snorkel.

Is that on your jeep? How do you like it and will the black cap come with the kit?

That is mine

I love it. I justify the snorkel more for moving the air intake a little higher for dust and the occasional water. In AZ we may not have a lot of stream crossings but street flooding is common with our T-Storms. It does sound a little strange with the air intake up by the window but you get used to it.

The snorkel is a standard AEV and the kit from RIPP has the Filter, the "Can" that covers it and a nut to tie it all together. The only thing you may have to Jerry Rig is the transition from the end of the snorkel to the intake. But if you have done a Hemi swap you are used to making modifications.
