I have one on mine, but have to replace it with another one. I got one when the first came out, and there was no bracing underneath like the new one do. Daystar sent me a new one free with the bracing. I have to have it painted or wrapped. I haven't made up my mind. At least all I have to do is swap them. They do make the front look good though.

It's suppose to just allow a vent to expel heat from the engine bay.

Just installed mine. I did a bit of extra modifying. I added a second hood vent and drilled out the windshield side. This way it will push air in at highway speeds and help dry out any water under the scoop as well as extra venting.
I deleted the pic of the vent towards the windshield but it is the same as the pic below but reversed and on the windshield side (between footman and windshield washer.
