Question Tire Carrier / Bumper that swings with the gate

I just installed a MetalCloak 3.5" ARB Edition lift that I love and I am ready to move on to upgrading the bumpers. My fear is damaging the rear gate/hinges and body sheet metal with the additional weight of the 35" tire hanging on there now.

I am leaning towards the Poison Spyder and I have also looked at the JCR but was curious if there are others than swing-with-the-gate that maybe I have missed that are Made in USA that anyone has had a good experience with?

I have the Ace Engineering, like it a lot. It's worth considering.

Thanks, I hadn't seen the "More" Brand before and I just ran across LoD which looks pretty nice as well.

If weight matters, it's worth looking into the details. On the heavy side, Ace is 190 lbs. That's a lot of weight when considering you have a 100 lbs of tire and wheel to add. On the light side, LoD uses high strength steel, resulting in a stronger bumper that weighs in at around 110 lbs. LoD comes powder coated, which is convenient. Definitely upgrade to the zinc coated though. Tough as nails and least likely to have rust issues.

Poison Spyder is nice as well, and comes in between those two in terms of weight. I've run a lot of LoD stuff and my Dad has run a lot of Poison Spyder. I beat the crap out of my stuff and I'd never run anything except LoD and MetalCloak (for fenders). I want to buy something once.

Great point on weight, does anyone have a rough idea on what a stock JK bumper weighs as a comparison?
