How many miles you guys getting before pads need changing? I am running 35s with 3 inch lift, 27k miles, brakes feel like they might need some love soon. Thanks

I have been getting about 30,000 miles out of my rear brakes. They seem to wear out quickly. I had 75,000 miles on the fronts before I changed them. I am also running 35's with a 2.5" lift.

Do you have hill start assist on? I heard that can hurt your rear brakes.

I have seen this thrown out a lot, apparently the traction control system uses mostly the rear brakes to gain control of the vehicle. If you are using the system due to continued spirited driving, it is likely that is the source of the premature wear.

I got 21k out of my rear pads, 35s 3.5" lift, I couldn't believe it at first. Switched to EBC green stuff, bought prostop rotors but didn't need them, sitting in the garage now.

Planning on going with the front and rear Teraflex Big Brake rotor and bracket upgrades.

You can go through the settings and turn off the hill assist. I live in a hilly area, and I find it useful. I haven't stalled it once when engaged on a hill.

Have to agree. Mine goes through rear pads at about every 30k miles. I attribute that to the brake lock differential, the hemi, and my driving style. Off road climbing around (without being locked) would probably wear them too.

I still like the system for winter driving and it is worth the new brake pads.
