I am looking at getting 35s, I was set on the Duratrac 315/75/16 for the price and weight but they do not look aggressive. Suggestions and recommendations please?

i am really liking my Kumho MT's. Good price, not to heavy, atleast in the 35x12.5x15's i have... good tire so far. Goodyear MTRs are also one to look into, but they were on backorder in alot of sizes.

Check out the Maxxis Bighorn. It's been a few years, but back when I bought a set of 315/75/16's, they were about $100 less per tire than km2 and mtr/k. Found the lowest price online and had my local discount tire match it. Good looking tire, and performed well.

 

Good price and aggressive looks- I don't think you'll beat a retread tire for your two criteria.

 

Check out the fierce attitudes. Pretty sure they are a sub company of Goodyear.

 

I've heard good things about Mastercraft MTX they are about 230 each.

I've found that tires are one of those things that you usually get what you pay for. I've had mostly bad experiences with "cheap" tires.

 

When you say "look aggressive", what category are you really wanting - mud terrain or an all terrain?

The Duratracs are an AT tire, which to me, look like some MT tires. Are they "aggressive looking"? For an AT, yes. For a MT, not as much. If you want MT's, then that opens up the playing field for a whole lot more aggressive looking recommendations.

I'll vouch for Duratracs, because I have them. I bought them because they are one of the more aggressive AT's and at the time I was researching, they were the lightest. They've been a really great tire for how I use them (mostly on pavement and 6-7 months of continuous weekends on a deer lease). With close to 50k miles on them, they have worn really well (rotate all 5 every 5k miles) and have never been loud.

Weight-wise, I think you'll have a hard time finding an AT any lighter that look as aggressive as a Duratrac. You can see specific weights by either going to tirerack.com or going to the OEM websites. (If your concerned about weight, don't forget to pay attention to your wheels as well.)
