Default Ripp super charger owners!

Anyone of you guys ever rap on the jeep so hard in first gear that you change gears right before redline and the jeep shut off??? 😂😂😂 happened to me twice since I've had the jeep charged for 2 years or so.

2007 Jeep Wrangler jk 3.8 charged with altitude pulley now. Happened before I had smaller pulley once too.

The rev limiter could have kicked in? Did you mean the engine died and had to be restarted? The latter shouldn't happen.

Anything learned from the tech line that can be shared? Been charged for about two months now. Don't rap on the jeep too hard that often but if this is a design feature we ALL should know.

Hey man told the Ripp tech guy about your question, he says he will reply to the thread as well.

I was told the jeep is not use to having this power and torque show from no were, the jeep has a Mercury switch a safety feature that can sometimes be tripped due to all that torque and power in term shutting the engine off. I have the 3.8l he does too and has had this happen before.

No damage done. Both times this occurred to me I was able to turn the engine back on no problems. Hope this helps!
