Straight forward install. Use the tap and chase all threaded holes before you even start.
Love mine

do this again after you have every thing powder coated.

I would also do a practice fit prior to sending your parts to powder coat. This way you are familiar with how things go together and know how to ensure the lower bar is level/even across the dash.

Unlike other product videos, these guys did a real good job. If you do catch something that wasn't covered email their rep, they WILL have it corrected. Good people, great product.

Very smart thinking and words of wisdom here.

Thank you for ordering our cage! You'll love it and the install is very straight forward. Of course give us a call if you have any questions along the way.

I just received mine, should be going to powder coat this week. Main reason I got it is not for "wheelin," rather to hopefully decrease the odds of the windshield folding-in on the occupants in the event of rollover. There really is no actual "A" Pillar on the JK/JKU.

The Rock Hard 4x4 Sport Cage is supposedly designed to work with the OEM crumple zones as well, which might help in a front collision as well.

Do I need to pull hardtop for the practice fit? Or can I just fit the A pillar bars and the bars on top/bottom of windshield???

Use anti seize on the bolts. Use a step drill and remove the upper door hinges. Those are the only things you have to watch out for. I'm on my 3rd JK and the first thing I ordered for my last two. I think I've installed 5 so far. I recommend them to anyone that asks how I like it.
