Prolly doesn't help but 3" and 37s here. Also depends on what lift your talking. I have room for 38s. Lol

Yup, AEV 2.5" w/ 37" Mickey Thompson Deegans, Bushwacker flat fenders in the front and none in the back and definitely need more room.

I'm running a 2.5 in Terra flex coil lift and a Terra flex spacer lift and a 1.25 inch body lift and flat fenders... and I still get some rubbing disconnected...

Where do you rub? adjust your bumpstops. Has to be done regardless of lift height with those tires. I'm running those same coils you have with no bodylift and rub no where because I'm running the proper bumps, backspacing and trimmed where needed (rear seams only)

I have a rock krawler 2.5" mid arm lift

Before I cut my fenders (or shell out for a set of metal cloak) I want to make sure 37's will give a good amount of flex. I am trying for a low center of gravity build

You don't need metalcloak fenders to increase your travel. A little longer shock and some bumpstops in addition to flats- you'll be set. I put 37's on rk 2.5" stock mod and it needed serious bumpstop. It's ok for the daily driver but not for actually wheeling. It is lcg....aka cheap ass build.

Saw your form and that is one nice set up!

It looked like 37's worked just fine with the 2.5" RK set up. I'll have to see pics when you get 40's on

This is a good thread on 37s with 2.5" of lift.
