2Dr to 4DR - Where are the Deals?
I'm in the MD/VA area and trying to trade my 14 2dr Sport in on a 4dr. Dealers don't seem to want to deal. I know the JKUs are hot items, but even the dealers I usually buy from are playing hardball. And when I find a decent price, the trade appraisal comes in pretty low.
This isn't my first go around. Been buying and trading cars/Jeeps for over 30 years. This is the toughest year yet. Maybe I'm expecting too much.
Any suggestions on dealers? Monday is the last day of the month and I have it off. I would really like to close on one then.

You don't need to be a member of tread lightly for them to give you a good price, I've got a friend who has bought a few jeeps and always got a better deal than tread lightly.
He traded his 2dr in a couple years back and they were low on the price but he got a crazy deal on his 4dr rubi.
He bought from Fredericksburg a few times now and that's where he got the best price. Tell them you know about the 1% and negotiate from there. Every single thing is something you can use as leverage against the price. He pulled out a fully loaded rubi for $34, sans navi. I think he was at $38 for the 15 hard rock with all options- dual top, leather, navi, etc.
