JK transmission problem
Requesting advice on JK transmission problems. My transmission has been intermittently slipping in and out of gear causing a jerking action in the vehicle. It has also shutdown the engine while slowing down for stop light, causing the transmission not to re-engage. After placing back in park and restarting engine, the transmission would not engage for up to 5 min. No error codes at dealership in computer. Dealer changed out Torque valve twice in transmission, no success. Has anyone had this same issue. Need some help.
It would be nice to know which automatic transmission you are talking about, and how many miles on it.
Also, when was the last time you checked the fluid level, with the transmission warm and in Park, with the engine idling?

This is a 2012 Wrangler unlimited Rubicon with stock transmission. It currently has 62000 miles and still under original 100k warrantee. The Jeep service department at our local dealer is not sure what is causing the problem.
Oil levels and filters have been checked or replaced. All service on vehicle have been performed by Jeep dealers within 1000 miles of scheduled inspection times. This vehicle has not been off road.

Got a buddy at work with a 14 unlimited having the same issues last year.
He had to nearly cuss out and threaten to get it replaced. But they did replace it. The dealers here are ridiculous and try everything to not have to touch a jeep. His is completely stock.
Had to call Chrysler and the whole 9, I know I'm screwed but haven't been to the dealer since 2009.
