Default Toyo tires / rims - thoughts?

I have a 2016 jk billet silver, thinking about buying 32 in Tokyo A/T tires. Anyone have an opinion on these?

(I drive on the highway everyday so I need good street tires, but also plan on hitting up trails).

Also, thinking about spray painting the rims black or buying new rims if the tires won't fit on the stock (17 in) rims I have now. Any ideas on what looks good?

They'll fit depending on the width. If you go with a 285 or 305 variety the width will be cutting it close while fully locked steering either direction.

You can either adjust the stops on the knuckle, buy spacers, or new wheels.

I would be careful of the load rating as well, made the mistake of running 10 ply good years and it was not ideal. Had to run em really low to wear evenly.

I ran 305 70 r16s with wheel spacers and no lift for over a year with a lot of road miles and some trail rides with no issues.

I know some guys who run 285/70/17's with little to no rubbing issue.

I am running 285/75/18's R/T's. I love them. So does everyone that gets them. Less road noise then my oem rubi tires. Great stance etc. they did great in the mud the one time i have had them out in it. I am sitting at 34.75/11.4/18. You will need a 2.5 lift for these but they smaller versions. The R/T's are the way to go.

Yep, I am running 295,75r17 Toyo R/Ts. Super quiet. Couldn't be happier. Mine are a 33.6 inches tall. I had them with no spacers or lift with no rub. Then I put on spidertrax 1.5. Then added a 2.5 lift. Sits just right and rides smooth.

295/75-17? I did not know the R/T came in that size.

I agree. Look into the R/T instead of A/Ts. They are quiet even at 70mph and give you a little more grip offroad
