Default Hard Rock / 10x winch install Was it hard to do?

Hey I'm getting ready to drop a winch in the factory Hard Rock bumper.
I need to get the Winch plate and some beer.
Did you install your own or did you have a shop install it?
The only big deal I see is cutting off the vac. Pump tab and open up the hole for the fairlead....
Thanks for your help

I used Maximus 3 plate and it took me about 4 hours to install a Zeon 10S. There isn't anything too hard except tightening the last 4 bolts. The winch sits low and looks great.

I used the Mopar Kit with a Warn 9.5CTI-S and everything installed simply with no major issues. If you order the mopar kit, be sure and get the correct fairlead plate based on the winch (centered or noncentered) as it is not included in the kit. The Maximus-3 off-center adapter plate does not work properly with the new Mopar mounting kit as the winch sets 1/2" lower than the original Mopar kit. Maximus' only suggestion was to drill new holes for the fairlead mount -- but that does not lower the slot for the winch cable and it can rub on the synthetic rope due to the high position. Their support has been completely lacking and they are off my list of suppliers as a result.

The biggest pain is grinding off the old vacuum pump mount as it sets very close to the brake lines so you must be careful.
