Wheel/axle metal grinding noise...help
I just noticed this noise the other day and was rotating my tires when I discovered where the noise was coming from. See & listen for yourself at the following link. It's only the front left wheel that makes the noise. Any help would be much appreciated. It's parked until I figure out wtf it is.

Thanks, I'll take a look tomorrow. At least it's not a bearing or the axle.
I haven't noticed anything weird while braking...so hopefully it's a cheap/easy fix. But I say that about everything.

Thanks fellas! That was it. The top portion of the dust shield was rubbing. I just ever so slightly pulled the dust plate away from the rotor and wallah, no more metal on metal noise. Now let's hope my rotor isn't slightly warped.

Before removing the wheel hub, try to bend the dust shield away from the disc. I had an issue where a piece of slag was between the disc and shield. Once I moved the dust shield it went away.
