Im planning to get new tires for my Jeep soon. Gonna get the Mastercraft Courser MXTs. Just can't decide if I should get 305/65/17 or 295/70/17. My Jeep has a TeraFlex leveling kit ( 2 in front 1 in rear) and stock fenders. Would love to see pics of your jeeps with either of these tires sizes and hear your opinions on which you think would be best. I have 285/70/17 nitto Terra grapplers now on MB TKO wheels.

I am also looking at similar tire sizes. The 305/65 is a 32.6 x12" tire, and the 295/70 is a tall 33" at 33.3 x 11.6. I personally no longer care for the wide tires, and have decided to go with the 295/70's on my AEV pintlers. There is a gunmetal gray 4 door rubicon online (search jeep jk w 295/70 cooper st maxx), and that is the tire I will go with.

I am running a 2011 4 door automatic, and plan on a v8 swap, so gear changes are currently on hold. On my last 2011 JKU, I went with 315/70/17, and had to regear to 5.13, as the drive was horrible. Felt great after the regear.

Just in case you consider the bfg km2 in a 305/70 flavor, it is a tall 33", at 33.9" tall, but I decided against it, due to the thread design, and me not really off-roading like I used to.

Where do you drive your Jeep? Extreme off road, mild off road, or no off road?

Thanks for he feedback! I'm also really leaning toward the 295/70. It will give me a little more height and width from my current 285s. Don't wanna go too big because I have no plans to lift higher or trim fenders at this point.
