Default Outside window A piller bolt size

Hey guys does anybody know what size those 6 black bolts are? Thought they were a SAE since metric ones didn't match up but even the SAE ones still didn't thread properly.

I was going to install a light bar and the brackets that I have I would like to have a little longer ones so anyone know what they are?

Thanks

I would just call the mopar parts department or go to the dealer and have them give you the specs. They probably have some bolts on hand that are a little over priced, or you can find them once you get the specs.

Yeah probably what I will what I will have to do

I'm getting the fealing that when you buy a cheap set of 50" LED light bar brackets they aren't going to fit flush against the A piller like it should

Anyone have the same issue with a cheap pair of brackets and did a more expensive ones like Riged or TF ones fit better

Take a bolt out and goto your local autozone they have a card with a bunch of threaded holes find the one that it fits and that's your size.

Is the head a torx 50? I would go to the Jeep dealer get the specs then go on Amazon a order them. The fastenal here is a joke they have to order most stuff because they have very little on hand at their store. Which makes no sense to me.

They are metric M8 1.25m 25mm. I have used a stainless button head bolt with
a 30mm length when I mounted my pillar lights.

Did that already but when I tried to thread the new bolts in they seemed to start too cross thread

The oem ones matched up to a sae thread but not so much in the Jeep

Thank you, I got a set of mirrors when I take my doors off or when I use the tube doors. I also got a light bar and its bracket, the bolts that came with the mirrors are shorter than the OEM, but the OEM have a fatter head. I got a set of allen-drive Cap bolts (M8x1.25x30) at Lowe's and they are perfect. Thanks for the info
