Safari straps D-ring screw/bolt size?

Safari straps D-ring screw/bolt size?
For members that have Safari straps, when you installed your D-ring what size screw/bolt did you use? The hole thats available is not threaded so I was wondering what you guys used. Any help would be appreciated Thank You
