Default ESC light (not the usual suspects)

I can't get my ESC light to clear. I put ~34in tires on with new wheels, changed the tire size via interceptor gauge, now the ESC light is on and I can't get it to clear. No lift, steering wheel is straight. I even turned the drag link 1/4 turn because I thought it might be off a bit. Disconnected the battery twice. The light comes on when the key is in the run position. I inspected all my speed sensors and they are fine. The ABS light not lit. There's no codes. Shutting down ESP and turning back on with the interceptor gauge doesn't change anything either. Any other thoughts?

Probably not going to fix it, but try putting it into 4LO, drive it a not too far and make sure to go full left and full right while moving and also drive it in reverse for a few feet. Sounds cheesy, but I gave that a shot and mine cleared, but would eventually come back on a few days later. It didn't clear immediately after doing that, but about a min after putting it back into 2hi. My problem ended up being a steering alignment issue.

The ESC light is the traction light correct? When you say no codes, which type of scanner or method was used to scan for codes? Not all scanners are able to scan all the modules to get the necessary codes for problems. Most scanners and the dash diag method will only display ECM codes.

Since the traction control is done by applying braking to each wheel, it is likely controlled by the ABS control module. Which means, you will need a scanner which is able to read ABS codes to get the code which has been recorded for that light.
