Default Who is running 10plys?

Just curious how many of you are running 10 ply (E rated) tires and how bad it affected fuel mileage and performance? When I switched to D's it affected it a little, just trying to figure out if I want to go deeper down that rabbit hole. I Had a smoking deal pop up on a set of wheels/tires, but not sure on running 10plys on this turd bomb. 😂

I'm running 10ply ko2's. I can get 17mpg at highway speeds. City is closer to 15. I run a lower psi in them and it has improved the ride quality tons! I haven't looked back since I dumped the stockers.

Thats pretty good, I don't even get that with my current setup. About 15.2 is what I average. Mostly highway.

Damn man, meanwhile I hate how stiff the ride is on my C rated MTR's at 27 psi (Rancho's set at 3 front, 2 rear). I can't imagine running stiffer.

I"m running 28 psi on 33's no lift yet. I expect it to get worse, until I regear/ repower. I'll have my teraflex 2.5 in by the end of the year.

Hell thats warm weather mileage too. In the winter it gets down to almost 14mpg. It definitely doesn't like cold weather. im not really worried about ride, but when gas hits $4 a gallon again I don't want to be stuck with a daily getting 12mpg lol but then again $1000 bucks for 5 brand new 17" ballistic jesters with 295/70 lexani's are hard to pass up.

Cold doesn't affect my JK as much as it affected my old twin turbo truck. It took a 3-5 mpg hit when winter gas showed up.

Default ive had

10 ply e rated 33 nittos on for near 40,000 miles i get 19 - 20 on a good day & 16 17 back roads . Ill buy another set when these are gone . I happen to like them being 10 ply E . maybe the ride could be better , but im quite pleased . rancho 9000s seemed to make it much nicer . trail grapplers & little to no noise level on the road wearing nicely over all . They wear like steel i run them at 28 to 30 psi (not sure but) i think they are 87lbs each with wheel they are not light weighters

37" Pitbulls 17mpg average on the highway. Some people hate E (10 ply) personally I like the piece of mind of having a stronger tire.

Went ahead and got them, interesting fact for those wondering - 295/70/17 10plys on jesters feel lighter than a 33x12.50x17 8 ply on stock Rubi wheels.
