For those of you with 07-11 model JK with the 3.8 engine and the torque app I have a request.... I have just started to pay attention to the CAT B1S1 temps after my turbo install and I need a baseline for what they were roughly before. I am looking for fully warmed up idle temp, causal driving temp, and maybe a highest recorded reading after getting on it for a few seconds.

 

I typically see that in the 1450-1750° range. Normally it's in the 1600s, but higher engine revs will push it higher (no surprise there). I've only seen it get above 1800 one time, and that was when I also had an engine overheat light that, ultimately turned out to be due to a bad intake manifold gasket (hot engine gases got into coolant and overheated it at high revs pushing hard to get up a steep hill when very heavy).

 

Ahh, good to hear, I am sitting around 1150 at idle, 1500-1600 normal driving and I saw 2k under full throttle.
