There's a video on how I made my "tube" fenders from the stock ones. It's super cheap and pretty easy, and I think it looks pretty good.

Looks awesome! Did you use trade size 1" or outside diameter 1"?

 

OD 1". But honestly you can use whatever size you think will look best on your Jeep.

 

Thanks. I'm going to tackle this today or tomorrow. I cut the fenders on my last just used to door trim edging. I really like the look of the PVC. Did you bend PVC first, then paint and then cut the slit in the back side?

 

Bend, then cut, then paint, then install. Don't cut the slit then try to bend it, it will mushroom out if you bend it with it already cut. And be careful with the heat gun, don't keep it in one spot too long or it will bubble the PVC. Good thing is that if you mess up just go buy some more,it's cheap stuff.

Got this done yesterday. Making the bends for the front fenders was a bit of a task but overall j think it turned out pretty good! Thanks for the info and idea!
