Default Thule Rain Gutter Roof Rack

Anyone have experience with these? I'm thinking I'd like to go this route to not drill holes in my hard top. I travel 1000+ miles with a family of five and would like to use a carrier on my Jeep.

Thanks!

I used one on my JKU.. If you spread the bars out as far as possible (close to the windshield and as close to the back as possible), you get a really sturdy setup. You can't use your freedom tops though... I use it with a Yakima basket and solo to haul my canoe..

Thanks, that's exactly what I was hoping for!

Also, what wheels are those? I love them!

Correct. Motometal. I love the look of them. I removed the center cap, looks better in my opinion. I've not had very good luck with these wheels. I bought them because I wanted a certain look and didn't consider usability. With 35s on 20s, you have very little sidewall so the ride is awful. Even airing them down doesn't net much difference. And when you try to air down off-road for the rocks, it's almost impossible to go below 18psi without losing a bead. I've bent and replaced one wheel already. Next time I'll be shopping for 17s. Whole lot more tire with better ride and air-down capabilities. And about half the price of a 20" tire.
