Roof Rack and Basket Help
Hello everyone!
At the beginning of the year I bought a 2014 JK Sport.
It came with a roof rack/cage/ I don't know what it is really called. I took it off for now. I will post a picture.
Anyways, I was wondering what basket would work on it? Would any work? This is all new to me.
My main goal is to be able to store fuel cans up top and mount tools like a shovel and a high lift and so on.
Recommendations would be nice too.
Also, if you know what this is please let me know.
Thanks in advanced!

Your best bet would be to find out what brand that is and get the matching basket.
That being said, I can tell you it's not the Body Armor. It looks like yours is designed to disco in the front and fold back. The Body Armor doesn't do that.

As for what basket to use, it looks like since you already have cross bars on the rack, you can use just about any basket. Most baskets mount between the cross bars and given that your basket has a fixed distance between the cross bars, just make sure that you check the required mounting distance of whatever basket you opt for.
The Thule Canyon is a popular one, as well as the Yakima Load or Mega Warrior. But there are several other ones that are perhaps lessor known, such as Surco, Smittybilt, Garvin, Barricade, Rugged Ridge, Warrior Products, Rola and several others. I would suggest doing some research on the types available (e-trailer is a good place to start), then look at the install instructions to see what the mounting requirements are and see if they'll fit your racks application. Best of luck and less us know which one you decide to go with.
It's not the Sherpa, totally different. My pics are of my RR Sherpa on my JK. Look at the rear where it goes along the angle of the flares, and the front where it replaces the factory joint plate, and the front and rear hoops compared to the waistline created by the front to back bars. Everything about that looks different.
I am guessing towards the Xtreme Terrain.
