To use a drop pitman arm or not????? Need some help here
Installing a 3.5" Rough Country series II lift. Added an RC adjustable track bar and RC Steering stabilizer. Got some Insite from a keeper and was told to not run the drop pitman arm. Any thoughts?????????
Drop pitman arms aren't a good choice. If you need to correct your geometry most will recommend a raised track bar bracket at the axle and a drag link flip.
Edit - looking at that kit, you'll want to see if your brake lines are being stretched... you may need to move them or get longer ones.

You want to keep the draglink and the trackbar roughly parallel to each other. So if you do not install the drop pitman, do not install the trackbar bracket. Use both, or use neither.
This will leave the front axle off-center. If you want to correct it, look at an adjustable trackbar, or as mentioned, look into a draglink flip instead of the drop pitman.
