2017 rubicon unlimited calibration
Hello I am new to this forum I just purchased a 2017 Rubicon unlimited Hard Rock edition. It has the 5 speed automatic I am putting a teraflex 2.5in lift on it with a larger tire size. My problem is I can not find any one that has a programmer for the 2017 to correct the tire size so the transmission will shift correctly and the speedo will read correct. I am not going to large on tires only 305/70/17 from a 255/75/17 stock size. Any one that has any ideas I would greatly appreciate your input.
It seems like a lot of the retailers are advertising the Superchips Flash Cal for '07-'17; however, Superchips doesn't have 2017 listed on their own site yet. I have a Bully Dog and recently had to use a Flash Cal in a pinch. It was a very simple interface and pretty impressive over what I have. I'd bet you'll make more progress giving Superchips or another manufacturer a call directly just to confirm. Kinda one of those things where everyone is a little slow to update their webiste/product details when the next year rolls out.
I'd also add that you're going to be ok to drive without it being programmed.....your speedo might just be off by 3-5 mph at highway speeds. Not the end of the world till you get a programmer.

Interesting. If it were me, I'd be ok driving for a while without it being programmed and being able to buying the programmer I preferred rather than being forced in to some purchase just due to timing. I drove easily 1.5 years on 35s without a programmer. I just knew when I was going 60mph, i was really traveling 65mph. I think you'll see these updates happening quickly as we move through the end of the year.
