Default Help me choose my wheels for my Natural Green Pearlcoat JKU

Hey guys. I have narrowed my possible wheel selection down to a couple different Fuel wheels. As mentioned in the title, I have a NGP and looking to do something different that the run of the mill black wheels, but I don't want chrome. I am not real familiar with BS and offset, but I can say I am looking the wheels to be basically flush with the outside of the fender well and not stick out beyond them.

If anybody has these wheels and want to post up pics, please feel free.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Check out the method roost in bronze. Really cool wheel imo if you don't want black...

What size tire?

As the size goes up, you generally need to move them further and further out.

Can somebody tell me if a 17 x 9" wheel with a 5.75" (20 offset) backspacing stick out beyond the fenders? I don't mind a little tire bulge but don't want the wheels sticking out beyond the fenders. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. The other option would be 5" bs (1 offset).

Stock rims have around a 6.25" backspace. Assuming you swap the same tire from a stock rim to one with a 5.75" backspace, the outside tread of the tires should move out .5"

But I am mathematically challenged, so...

Default New Wheels

I had your color a few years back and I went with a Teflon coated wheel. In some light it looked charcoal gray, and at other times they looked black. Certainly did not see myself coming and going with these wheels.

I am really leaning towards the Trophy n this configuration.

Fuel Trophy D552 Matte Gunemtal - 17x8.5 +06 offset 5.0BS

Based on my calculations it should stick out around 1" more than the stock rims. Can't remember if the stock wheel is 7 or 8" wide.

I think that wheel will look really good. I'm running a very similar styled rim in gunmetal on my JKUR and get lots of compliments on them.

biginboca really like those wheels. Very refreshing to see a splash of color in a world of the black wheel fad.
