Default Help with Wrangler shutting off

I've searched hi and lo, far and wide and no clear answer as to what can be this issue. this past weekend i took my wrangler our for a leg stretch. ready to tackle a rather difficult trail, i decide to engage 4wd and lock my air locker. as the trail got "sticky" per say, my wrangler decides to shut off on me. i almost had to change my underwear but i held it together... i turn it back on and i notice the cranks seems a bit sugglish. (may i add... I've noticed for the past month or so that these cranks are more sluggish more frequent) i continue my trek.... got past a little obstacle, wrangler shuts off again. at this time i decided that it may best suit me to just head out and buy a new battery to enjoy the rest of my day...

$220 now with a new red top optima... i re lock, and I'm ready to beat the stuffing out of these trails. see a nice semi-dry mud pit which i decide to run through. things got a bit deep and sticky. so i chuckle and put my 37" stt pros to work and dug myself right out. but as the wrangler comes to a stop,,,,, it shuts off.... again. i disregard it as it might just be a hiccup..... but it then shut off again once more on a rather medium obstacle.... anyone.... any ideas?
