Default This is it ! I ordered my JKU

Hello,
I'm in France and ordered my first Jeep !
It's a JKU Rubicon red, I will have it in 3 month.
In the past I had a VW Iltis and had the opportunity to do off-road with friends with Toyota BJ40, Jeep Delahaye (you don't know that in the US) and also Jeep Willis.
I'm very excited and impatient...
Sylvain

Congrats on pulling the trigger on one of the funnest vehicles around. I see the euro bumpers and been improved slightly (only slightly) in aesthetics but do they allow bumper mods there in France?

Unfortunatly nothing is authorized in France.
I mean you can do it but your are outlaw and you may have trouble in case of accident or police control.
If you modify your car, you must go throuh a very complex process to validate the change (almost impossible) !
Even changing tire size is not authorized...

That's crazy!

Congrats on the Jeep!

I've heard there is a pretty healthy Offroad community in France. (Teraflex video and a few others). Always good to see people getting out in it.

Happy Jeeping!

That is crazy. Thank God we haven't gone full tilt in the states, well at least yet.
