Very interesting that MBRP is selling it, considering the last I had heard it was a custom project for a dude in the central americas....

Dakota Customs charges around $60k to put a Hellcat powertrain in your JK; that is 707 crank hp for well less than half the price.

I am sure that Motech would install an LT4 and beef up the drive train for well less than $60k for 650 crank hp.

I just can't see anyone paying close to a quarter million dollars for any JKU.

Although I immediately thought that price was ridiculous, when you compare it to the Mercedes Benz G63 AMG 6x6 which costs about $530,000 for a 525 hp luxury/off-road monster, the Jeep doesn't seem like too bad of a price given that it has all of the goodies at less than half the price of the 6x6. Granted it's got 1 less axle and probably far fewer creature comforts than the Mercedes does, at least you've got a one of a kind Jeep that will compete with one of Germany's best tuner houses take on an off-road vehicle. My guess is some rich guy in Florida will buy it.
