Default 37" Wrangler tires hitting Teraflex disconnect brackets.

My buddy took his new build to our "wall of truth" for flexing/clearance this past week and we observed that the 37"x12.5"-17 Goodyear Wrangler tires are coming into contact with the front bumper and the Teraflex sway bar disconnect "parking bracket" that mounts to the front body mount. He is running a 2" spacer behind the wheel to push it out more, but obviously with the Teraflex design and a 37" tire you need a metric shit ton of clearance to get out away from that bracket/pin. Have any of you been through this and found a modification path to this problem aside from scrapping the new disconnects for a brand that completely removes the end link from the bar?

Photo of contact issues and the wall of truth : The bumper has been fully modified for proper clearance already, the issue that remains is the TF disconnects.

LOL..."The Wall of Truth". I use the JKS quicker disconnects and remove them completely, but I think if I left them on and secured them like those Teraflex are, I'd have the same issue running 37x12.5x17 Trail Grapplers on 4.5" BS wheels. He's got a few washers added to steering stops already? I'd presume so otherwise he'd be rubbing on the frame rail too with the backside of the tire. Curious, what's his total BS with the spacer added? You weren't joking about some contact with the front bumper!

More backspacing on the wheels, 2" adapters on factory wheels is not enough. You need to net out to around 3.5" bs.

If your running stock wheels you need more BS. I know guys running 37's with 3.5in BS wheels and still needed a 1in spacer to not rub.

He's running 4.75" backspace wheels and then uses a 1.5" spacer.

Yes, he rubs the frame and for whatever reason... It bothers him. I also rub the frame on mine and I've never given it a moments thought.

He's running a Spicer Ultimate 44 with factory outer knuckles and Red Neck Ram Assist.

How much clearance is the storage of the link eating up? 2" or so?

Aftermarket control arms? Maybe pushed to far forward.

I'd have to measure when he gets home this weekend, but I'm guessing with the bracket itself and the pin, it's got to be close to if not greater than 2".

I think that the Teraflex disconnects are intended for stock to 35" tires, the 37" tie really wants to occupy that same living space. I run Rock Krawler and just shove my bar up and toss a Velcro strap on the links, I don't ever rub the links with my 37" tires. I rub the frame, but who gives two shits...
